Fairest of Them All begins innocently with the crisp sweetness of crimson apple and dark cassis. But the story quickly changes. Cool forest air, peony and violet lead toward an enchanted landscape of damp earth, moss and shadow before a glimmering glass accord signals something more sinister.
Black molasses, caramel and brown sugar then envelop the poisoned apple in a dark gourmand sweetness, while copal resin, tonka and musk leave the final spell lingering on the skin.
The effect is polished yet inviting, balancing classic femininity with a contemporary lightness.
Inspiration
Inspired by Snow White, Fairest of Them All follows the story from youthful innocence through the enchanted forest and ultimately toward the poisoned apple. Elysian uses the contrast between bright fruit, forest atmosphere and dark sweetness to capture both Snow White's purity and the Evil Queen's deception.
