Fragrance Story

DELULU opens exuberantly with citron, rhubarb, bergamot, and mandarin, creating a bright collision of tartness and juicy citrus. Strawberry and raspberry soon appear alongside blackcurrant and Bulgarian rose, bringing a jammy, almost candy-like richness tempered by the resinous character of olibanum.

As the vivid fruit begins to soften, Ambroxan and musk meet sandalwood, vetiver, and osmanthus, giving the composition a smoother and more grounded finish.

Bright, juicy, and deliberately playful, DELULU captures the beautiful exaggeration of childhood memory—sunlight that seemed brighter, afternoons that lasted forever, a forgotten toy that once meant everything, and the uncomplicated freedom of simply having nowhere else to be.

Inspiration

Inspired by childhood nostalgia and the bittersweet realization that the carefree world of youth can never be experienced in quite the same way again.

DELULU looks back toward a world of favorite toys, melted candy forgotten in a pocket, scraped knees, tears that disappear as quickly as they arrive, and long afternoons spent doing absolutely nothing.

Unlike .Oddity’s darker and more minimalist creations, DELULU deliberately embraces color, fruit, sweetness, and excess. Its playful character represents the uninhibited imagination of childhood—a time before self-consciousness, schedules, and expectations began shaping the world.

Joyful on the surface yet touched by nostalgia underneath, DELULU is not simply about being young. It is about remembering how being young once felt.

The result feels less like a conventional landscape and more like an energy passing through one—something unseen, but unmistakably felt.
