El Morocco 154
A seductive blend of velvety musk, dark cocoa, and smoky woods, capturing the unmistakable allure of New York after dark.
Fragrance Story
154 opens with an intriguing contrast of pink pepper, rich brown sugar, cocoa absolute, and dark plum. The initial sweetness is warm and inviting, balanced by a subtle spice that hints at the fragrance's deeper character.
As the composition develops, Brazilian gardenia and ylang-ylang introduce an elegant floral richness. Peru balsam adds a resinous warmth, creating a smooth transition from the indulgent opening to the fragrance's more sophisticated heart.
The drydown reveals smoky olibanum, earthy cypriol, and structured cedarwood, softened by vanilla extract and enveloping musks. The result is a beautifully layered fragrance that balances sweetness, smoke, and sensual warmth.
154 is rich without being overwhelming, capturing the intimacy and elegance of an unforgettable evening.
Inspiration
In 1931, John Perona opened the doors of El Morocco at 154 East 54th Street in Manhattan, creating what would become one of the most celebrated nightclubs in New York history.
Behind its doors, society's most fascinating personalities gathered beneath twinkling lights, surrounded by distinctive zebra-striped banquettes, glamorous interiors, and the lingering atmosphere of late-night conversation.
Named for the club's original address, 154 pays tribute to the extraordinary world that existed beyond its entrance. The fragrance captures the warmth of crowded rooms, the elegance of beautifully dressed guests, and the subtle mystery of an evening that refuses to end.
A modern interpretation of old New York glamour, 154 is an invitation into a world where being seen was an art form.
