IggyWoo PISTACHIO VOODOO CHILD
Forget Everything You Thought Pistachio Could Be.
Fragrance Story
Instead of sugar, syrup, and sweet coatings, we focused on pistachio's natural, delicate nuttiness. Wrapped in powdered jasmine, softened by the rare Voodoo Dancer Lily, and grounded by creamy sandalwood, it reimagines pistachio as an elegant floral-woody fragrance, leaving behind the gourmand clichés.
Inspiration
Pistachio Voodoo Child was born from an extraordinary encounter during Richard Saint-Ford's travels through the jungles of Vietnam.
While hiking, he discovered the rare Voodoo Dancer Lily, an unusual flower with deep purple and nearly black coloring. Its remarkable appearance and the way it seemed to move in the sunlight left a lasting impression, inspiring a fragrance that celebrates beauty in its most unexpected forms.
Rather than creating another sweet pistachio gourmand, Saint-Ford explored the ingredient's natural, delicate nuttiness. Paired with jasmine, the mysterious floral character of Voodoo Dancer Lily and creamy sandalwood, the composition takes pistachio somewhere entirely new.
Pistachio Voodoo Child is an exploration of contrasts—familiar yet strange, comforting yet mysterious, and proof that beauty often reveals itself in unexpected ways.
