MOONMILK
A luminous journey beneath the Alps, where moonlight, mineral stone and subterranean mystery converge.
Fragrance Story
MOONMILK translates the atmosphere of a moonlit Alpine cave into scent—a place of cool stone, mineral darkness and pale, otherworldly light. The fragrance captures the contrast between the rugged earth and the luminous formations hidden beneath it, creating an impression that feels ancient yet ethereal, grounded yet strangely celestial. Like its namesake, MOONMILK evokes the quiet mystery of something formed deep within the earth but seemingly touched by the moon.
Inspiration
MOONMILK draws inspiration from 16th-century Swiss naturalist and explorer Conrad Gessner and his journeys into the caves of the Alps. In his 1555 account of Mount Pilatus, Gessner described an extraordinary subterranean world where moonlight entered the darkness, illuminating limestone formations and pools of mysterious white mineral deposits. This strange substance, seemingly suspended between stone and liquid, became known as moonmilk.
