MALIBU
Pink pepper, incense and sun-dried woods meet a whisper of jasmine in a free-spirited drive along the Pacific Coast Highway.
Fragrance Story
MALIBU begins with pink pepper, bergamot and cardamom, creating a bright, spiced energy that immediately suggests movement. Jasmine and geranium emerge against smoky incense before labdanum, cedarwood and sandalwood reveal the fragrance's dry, woody foundation.
Rather than recreating the Pacific itself, MALIBU captures the landscape running alongside it—the warmth of dry hills, canyon air and sun-baked woods, interrupted unexpectedly by the softness of jasmine carried on the wind. Fleurit classifies MALIBU as a Woody Extrait de Parfum.
Inspiration
Inspired by the 27-mile stretch of Pacific Coast Highway between Santa Monica and the Los Angeles County line, MALIBU captures the freedom of driving with the top down, the ocean beside you and nowhere you need to be. The inspiration comes from an easily overlooked part of that experience: winds descending through the canyons carry the aromas of dry California vegetation and wild star jasmine toward the highway. For a moment, road, mountains, flowers and Pacific air become inseparable—and MALIBU is that moment.
