Fragrance Story

Bois Flotté captures the intriguing contrast between rugged wood and the fluidity of the ocean. Fleur de sel introduces a mineral, windswept freshness before cedar and sandalwood reveal the composition's deeper woody character.

Smooth in places and deliberately textured in others, the fragrance suggests timber transformed by its journey through saltwater—weathered, polished and ultimately made more beautiful by time.

Inspiration

Inspired by driftwood and the distant places it might have traveled before reaching shore, Bois Flotté is an invitation to escape and reflect. Perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu studied the color, texture and erosion of driftwood, translating its silvery-gray surface, salt-worn smoothness and rough edges through woody, mineral and spicy facets.
